March 20, 2025 Field Trip
From the recent past a few of us had an awesome time in King’s County teaching the third graders dowsing at Farm Day at the Fair Grounds. Karen Berke (animal communicator with Golden Gate Dowsers) joined us. We were able to teach at least 18 classes plus other staff and vendors how to dowse. In the past we had more time with 10 minutes per class and this year we had 8 minutes to teach the basics and exploration of dowsing. Karen made 40 pendulums and G had made 30+ L -rods to use for the day.
We welcomed the class and began with their new word “dowse” and then G instructed them how to find the water veins with L rods and the students, teachers and staff followed. Each class picked up the L rods and were very excited to try something new and many were surprised when the L rods crossed as they walked over a water vein. Asking why and how this can happen. This year there were more kids excited to find spirits and communicate with them using the L rods than in all the previous years combined.
Next, we taught them how to use the pendulum and get answers to their questions. Karen demonstrated how to dowse with her car keys as a pendulum, shared the wonderful subjects of what to dowse for and was able to answer an animal communication question. We all shared the positive benefits one might want to dowse. I find it essential that I teach thoughts are things and they have meaning. We measured energy fields and took volunteers to help. I love teaching and the interactive component when others are playing with their newly applied skills. Of course the list of dowsing for anything can be practical and long.
We were also blessed by Pyramid Lake and the Vista Del Lago Visitor Center in Los Angeles with lots of supplies to share with classrooms about the conservation of water, rain sticks, bracelets, notepads, maps, books, stickers, cloth bags, etc. We also compiled literature in a folder to each teacher filled with ideas to dowse, California waterways, feeling wheel charts so students could acknowledge feelings and release them, history of dowsing and mandala color page. It was fun for all. A special thank you to Sharry Hope who connected us to the school district a number of years ago.
